icl im a firm believer of the headcanon that loki never meant to fake his death in any of the movies, he just saw an opportunity and took it. (except for the first thor film i hc that he was found by thanos which led to the events of the first avengers)

when i first watched the mcu i cryed evry time and thought to myself oke fine i will not cry the next time so at avengers infinity war i didn't cry because i thought he was faking again and then at loki season 1 i thought oh wait that is realy how his life in that time line ended 🥲 (btw i haven't seen a lot of the movies because i watch with my mom and she got cancer so the last thing i have seen is guardians of the galaxy 3 so i would love if no one will spoiler anything because i am doing my best) (also if people would like to know, my mom beated it 😊)
