Yup, it is extremely frustrating. Some of my best content for info is while I am covered in soil out in a garden bed but if I want it to do well, I have to go into the house to shower, blow dry etc. It is a bit of a hit to authenticity. You always look amazing and are engaging though.

Oh girl I feel you. I also used to realize that some days work was harder than others because of difficult or unfriendly patients. But the days I wore make up I noticed people were nicer and I had an overall better day. So frustrating 😅

I'm a 47 yr old woman who doesn't wear makeup, I have become so accustomed now to being utterly invisible. There are 2 things about me that do garner stares, and those are not wearing a bra, and having hairy armpits. As I'm experimenting with my relationship with femininity and what that means or does not mean to me, the outward presentation of that I guess sometimes forces others to confront their own ideas.

💯💯💯 Its why I use a filter. Ive gone through and found 3 or 4 that look like my 45-60 min makeup/hair and use those. 😅😅

You are always beautiful. But since I transitioned I also experienced what you do. You are judged all the time. And even though I always saw and knew that I am a woman, estrogen really opened up my empathy and emotional range and I actually feel guilty about my own behaviours from before. ❤️❤️❤️

Yup! In my 20’s (the early 90’s) I was ‘the shooter chick’ at an upscale bar… one night me and one of the bouncers developed an experiment that took a month… in the end, the combination of my hair loosely up (with tendrils) and a deep V neck tight top (they could only see waist up) My tips were QUADRUPLE of a night with a t-shirt and my hair down!
