@ozawott: Did you hear? It’s blowing up all over every major MTG creators feeds! What happened: a creator by the internet name of goblingrounds has allegedly been sexually harassing women in the community and sending them unsolicited pics of his command tower along with other messages and actions of harassment. While this is never acceptable or ok, if we really want to make sure this kind of thing doesn’t happen, we need to make this a better space for the women of magic. Influencer ego mixed with a game that is historically male dominated and historically well known for the toxicity of those same men is not a combination that screams “ I am wholesome and respectful towards women” What do you think of this situation? I am so happy that the LGS I play at is genuinely a welcoming and save space and while still the majority of players are men a good amount of our regulars are women and queer peeps. Everyone manages to treat them as equals and not being a jerk to them.
