This series has ALWAYS about the power of strategic branding. How the right decisions shape how a business shows up and give it the foundations to not just look the part, but act the part too. The vast majority of what you see here comes from real client work. Some are final directions. Some are unused routes. Some began as projects that never moved forward. The context changes, the process does not. The thinking is always real and the work is always built as if it were going live. This particular project started early in my career and was dropped when the client disappeared. I kept developing it because I don’t waste good thinking. Branding is about iteration, decision making, and building systems that could exist in the real world, regardless of whether a project reaches launch. I originally planned for the hand lettered, flowing type to lead the identity, but it didn’t land the way it needed to. A strong typeface with subtle customisation gave the logo more clarity and structure and anchored the mark far better. The lettering didn’t fail. It evolved into an auxiliary, heritage graphic within the wider system. Not everything has to go in the archive gang!
