I’ve been single for longer than 20 years. Simply because I was watching so many forced, unhealthy, toxic relationships around me. I didn’t want that. Yes I have had the same thoughts as you have. It was hard sometimes. But I pushed through. Now I have a wonderful relationship with my best friend. I’m so happy and grateful. I’m so glad I have waited and not did what everyone else was doing. (Most of them are divorced now.) You deserve someone who gives you peace inside and the love you deserve. 💚

A part of me sometimes thinks that because I haven’t found a woman to spend time with, that I’m not worthy to spend time with myself either. Movies, games, shows, vacations, dreams.. they all seem useless without someone to enjoy them with. I constantly fight with showing up for myself because I don’t have anyone to share things with.
