I would choose where I would benefit the most (not just emotionally). Some people would choose the strangers because their family might’ve hurt them. Others will feel that’s just the moral thing to do. But at the end of the day, we’re only humans. Circumstances will cloud our decision making. Only when we experience the outcome that we can say, “We did/did not make the right choice.”
