I wish the plywood was 1/2 inch all the way around. I feel the center dowel should be an option and it needs more ice packs.

This is pretty cool. But that dowel from the other cake box serves more than just the whole cake shifting in the box, it also keeps the layers from shifting or sliding with the bounce of the car.

I prefer the cake safe easier to set up and it's more secure from the dowel also easier to clean.

I have the cake safe and it has way less things little components to add on, it’s pretty simple and it’s so easy to use. Just remove the dowel fill the whole and that’s it. This one is great too but too many small components. I delivered a wedding cake and it was easy peasy. It can be heavy but it’s worry free at least for me.

This is such a cute box, I could see using it for maybe smaller cakes. For the price though, Cake Safe is much more secure. The dowel through the middle is scary at first but only leaves a small hole in the top which I can cover in about 10 seconds at the venue. Of course do what works best for you! Love the logo on this one, it's so cute!
