My hot take is that your home’s decorating should complement its design. I think half the problem is people are forcing a trend to fit the house when it isn’t suited. No wonder you feel the need to jump to the next trend every couple years

I've always loved the gran millenial, also the interior/set designer who dis the nancy meyers houses has a YouTube channel talking about how each time complimented the architectural style of that home.

It amazes me how frequently people change their decor and color schemes nowadays. Growing up in the 80s, it seemed like people changed it every 10-15 years, sometimes longer.

I love the design because I can actually find stuff from the thrift store to fill in the space and not have to be too creative. I actually need crystal bowls, vases, and silver trays to hold things so it’s not about buying useless junk.
