@_fictionenjoyer: appreciation post for my favorite manga and my favorite work in all fiction. Tokyo ghoul is and will probably be my favorite work, my precious and perfect manga. No one will ever be able to understand how much I love this story and everything it has. The characters, its story, its drawing, the message it leaves and about Kaneki’s change throughout the manga is beautiful, its development and that of everyone is simply perfect and complex at the same time. His message to me about the contradictions of people and society, about the world itself and the people who inhabit it, that no matter how we see it, it will always be the same, but it is not a reason not to move forward every day. Why this manga made me appreciate my life and see things in my day to day differently. I read this manga twice in two completely different and difficult stages in my life, and that’s what makes this work so wonderful for me.
