As a leafs fan this a beautiful trade, andrea is HIGHLY underrated, never got the time of day in Philly, Swedish connection and Offensive Defenseman and 24 for a Hospital Bag, you make that trade all day long

We needed to clear one of our four goalies, and Woll was the obvious odd man out. He's worth at most a second, but Chayka decided to swing on a young puck mover plus a 3rd instead. All of that while clearing Benoits contract. Look at Andrae's underlyings, he's got a shot at being a difference maker and at worst, a massive upgrade over Benoit. The 3rd gives us quite a few picks in the top 80, and we clear 5 mil in cap space (before Andrae's contract). It's a good trade.

Andrae is pretty good with some legit top 4 upside & Ersson is just to have a third goalie that won’t get claimed off waivers, it’s an okay trade for Toronto, don’t understand it for Phili

Woll is an average goalie at best. But he will never be at his best because he’s injury prone, but I guess these are the things you get upset about when you haven’t had a decent goalie in 2 decades.
