i think it’s important to take both into acct. i find myself listening to more modern takes on astrology; that being said, i believe everyone should start traditionally (then work their way up to modern) and also take into acct the DUAL rulership. aquarius is saturnian, but in more of a uranian way than cap. etc etc.

I don't mean Uranus is good or better than saturn...during last degree of Uranus in Taurus I lost my father, and that was my uranian lesson interwined with a lot of other aspects. Saturn was never that bad, he is just more stict and demands discipline. Put in the work, and you'll get results. With Uranus on the other side, poor aquarians (or everyone at this point) don't know what to expect. Saturn is slow,and pain in the a*s but you know exactly where and how you'll suffer and it's up to you. With Uranus...nobody is asking you, and no matter the work and heart you put into it, it won't work, you really don’t get a say in what happens to you in life. In other words, you don’t have control over it, and the worst, most unexpected things can happen. With Uranus it's not about your work and how much sweat and tears you put into it, it’s all about the element of surprise which is so unfair

I remind myself that as we progress through the signs, each sign sort of stacks traits from the sign before it. With this in mind, that means that the later signs have the capacity for all types of experience. The changes are more in the way they're expressed, not that they are void of that experience.
