after 5 summers of visiting Positano, here’s my go-to itinerary so you can make the most of your trip 🤍 • hire a private driver from Naples instead of doing the train or ferry. it’s more expensive, but so worth it after a long travel day 🚗 • stay at Hotel Vittoria, Art Hotel Pasitea, or Hotel Poseidon. book early, get a sea view room, and avoid staying too high up unless you love stairs 🌊 • skip the main beach during the day and head to Fornillo Beach instead. it’s quieter, prettier, and way less overwhelming ☀️ • my favorite restaurants: Il Tridente for drinks, Da Vincenzo for dinner, Saraceno d’Oro, Da Gabrisa, and Hotel Pupetto for the best pizza in Positano 🍕 • do a boat day to Capri, either private or group. seeing the Amalfi Coast from the water is a completely different experience ⛵️ • Music on the Rocks is a must at least once. it’s a nightclub inside a cave and such a fun late night experience 🎶 • do the Path of Gods hike! ferry to Amalfi, taxi to the trailhead, then hike back toward Positano 🥾 • book a cooking class at La Tagliata and spend the afternoon learning how to make fresh pasta while overlooking the coast. it’s touristy in the best way 🍝 • take a day trip to Ravello. ferry to Amalfi, then bus or taxi up, the views and gardens feel completely different from Positano 🌺 • don’t overpack your itinerary. some of my favorite moments there are just grabbing a spritz, walking around with no plan, and watching the sunset 🥂 💌 save for your Italy trip #positano #amalficoast #italy #italytravel #traveltips
