also dont keep things in wood cabnets. it off gasses and needs to be polished and the polish also off gasses. always go metal. (signed someone who worked in museums)

I recommend those little dessicate packs that come with new shoes and jackets. And in display cabinets, they also help keep action figures (Transformers for me) from yellowing and getting brittle.
