@amyandboys: Help a mama out… 🙈👶🏼🍼💭 . I genuinely can’t quite believe that we’re about to become a family of five! Because if you’d have told me that a year ago, I would have laughed in your face… but here we are! 🤣 . This time around, I really don’t want to buy loads of things that will only be used a handful of times. I’m all about the essentials and anything that genuinely makes life easier. So please tell me… what’s the one or two newborn/baby items you couldn’t live without? . Whether it’s a game-changing gadget, a must-have, or something that saved your sanity, I want to hear it all! I feel mega out of date when it comes to baby things, and seeing as I’m now 7 years older than I was last time around… I need all the help I can get 😂 . Please hit me with your recommendations 👇 . . . . . . . . . . . . #PrayForMe #babynumber3 #newbornessentials #mumlife #babyessentialsph

My top recommendations are large 1l bottles of pre made formula, can be kept in fridge for 24hours once opened and such a game changer for the first few weeks. Nuby rapid cool, ideally 2 of them! Not the Nuby thermos flask though it’s rubbish just get a branded Thermos one. Next to me crib with wooden legs/base, my Joie one had metal legs and wheels and the squeaks used to wake the baby up. I wouldn’t get an expensive travel system tbh, can get some amazing 2nd hand ones. A swivel infant car seat that reclines, e.g maxi cosi pebble pro or the Cybex cloud T. I wouldn’t recommend prep machines or baby nests/loungers as these aren’t 100% safe xx

Congratulations I’m a family of 5 to it’s hard but it’s beautiful 🥰 I have 5 year old twins and a wee girl at 2 my main items are Doona car seat hands down best thing ever!! I hardly used my pram because of it! Dockatot all 3 of mines loved them and all are great sleepers! Mam bottles & dummies are the best! Kendamil was the best milk I used. A hummy which is white noise is a great thing to all mines loved it! Also the prep machine bottle maker is a game changer and defo a must! good luck ❤️

I had my third 7 months ago and there’s a 5&6 year gap between my eldest two. The best thing I ever got this time was the bugaboo dragonfly, sooo easy it all folds in one click (even the bassinet) makes the school run sooo much easier x

Mum of 3 here - 12, 2 and 4 weeks old - who also have everything away a week before we found out! I would say don’t buy everything in advance. We had our next to me, travel system, prep machine/rapid cools, 4moms rocker and also the Nuby bottles ready before baby came. Also got only 1 large packet of vests/babygrows in newborn & 0-1 because last time I ended up with looooooads unworn. Just as well this time as he went straight into 0-3! Got our 4moms rocker second hand for £30 and then only recently picked up a playmat and a gravity bouncer now I know he’s a happy baby to go down

Doona all day long.. BUT remember it’s only car seat & not a pram so still need to follow guidelines & how long baby is in it but I think they’ve got a new one that goes flat.. mam bottles. Scottish baby box gives you loads of what you need 🥰 congratulations. A little blessing

Mam bottles, they self sterilise so it’s so convenient. The nuby Rapid Cool, it genuinely made formula feeding so easy, especially the night feeds. Also the fisher price play mat as the baby gets bigger 🥰 congratulations!! 🫶🏻

I was in the same position - except my boy was 15 (now 16) and his baby sister is 8 months so everything had changed. Things I’ve loved this time - Next2me crib, Nuby Rapid Cool, Mam Bottles, Nappy Caddies (One Upstairs & One Downstairs) Joie Serina Swing (Seat comes off as well which ideal if baby needs to be in kitchen with you etc) a good carrier (I got the infantino one £25 and used regularly over last 8 months and still perfect!)

Congratulations. Snuz pod (good if baby is colicky) nappy caddy, microwave steriliser, bottle mug tree (sure I got mine from shein), nuby rapid cool (life saver) formula pots, all in one bibs (not sure of the name) for when they are weaning. Breastfeeding pillow (I didn’t breastfeed but used this all the time) x

We'd definitely say the nuby rapid cool, we actually had two! one in the change bag and one for the house 😂 a thermas for the boiling water, not the nuby one as its honestly rubbish! wee formula pots were great too! amazon baby wipes are the best ones we've had you get a box of 16 for like a tenner! dont rate the rockit at all. Oh and pram gloves for the colder weather are a must 🤍 xxxx

I’m due my 5th in October but my youngest is 10 eldest is 15 😂 I’ve got tutti bambini crib ( got it off Facebook) really good size I’m pleased with it. Heard people rave about the Nuby rapid cool if you plan on formula feeding so I have one. I’m looking at the Najella sleep carrier. Congratulations 🥰

My two boys were 9&6 when I had my 3rd so similar ages and gaps to you ! A doona 100%, the best thing we bought. We also did loads of digging to find the best swing from newborn too and went for a Graco move with me soother. Mam bottles 100 times over! Zippy sleep suits too ❤️
