@stereogum: The @GRAMMYS announced new rules and categories for 2027. The biggest change: acts can now be considered for Best New Artist up to four times instead of three. That reopens eligibility for several breakout acts, including @Ella Langley, @Megan Moroney, @Ken Carson, @ravyn lenae, and @Geese. (Geese had previously reached the three-submission limit through two group entries and one for frontman Cameron Winter.) Another update lowers the percentage of new recordings required on an album for awards consideration from 75% to 66%. The Recording Academy also added five new categories, bringing the total to 100: • Best Asian Pop Music Performance
