ive learned in fish keeping everyone will say “never enough”. “this betta should have a 65gal tank w fresh aquatic plants & natural sunlight” congrats on your new tank & a happy fish🫶🏼

a GREAT place to get stuff is fb marketplace. soooooooooooo helpful for me when I was setting up my tank!!! Also not sure if you know this (sorry if you do, I’ve made this mistake in the past and your fish is too pretty for this) no sharp plastic plants, go with silk!!

Why do people on Tiktok always love to jump to judging people and making assumptions without looking at the full story or just THINKING for more than ten seconds? obviously this person knows how to take care of their fish, he's clearly happy and this person knows that the fish needed a bigger tank, why are we policing them on what else they need to add? not every fish owner is ignorant, guys 😭

Great job! His colors look wonderful. A couple more cost friendly things you could potentially look into are moss balls, they’re great for enrichment and keeping your water clean! Super super cheap to just get 1 or 2. Otherwise local fish stores sell driftwood for supa cheap which can be great for tannins and hides. Oooorrr almond leaves for tannins! The most important part is you educated yourself and are working to grow❤️
