La importancia de la curva de saturación en un TI 👇🏽 ⚠️ No todos los transformadores de intensidad (TI) son iguales. La forma de su curva de saturación depende de si están diseñados para protección o medida, y esto es clave para su función. ⚡️ En los TI de protección, la curva se mantiene lineal el mayor tiempo posible. Así pueden medir correctamente corrientes muy altas, como las de cortocircuito, y permitir que las protecciones actúen a tiempo. Si se saturaran antes, no medirían bien y el sistema podría fallar. 📝 En cambio, en los TI de medida, la saturación se busca antes.
