@embracingecho: I found Payson slowly falling asleep in the pantry. If you guys remember Halstie falling asleep in the pantry as a baby, you know this is a full circle moment for me. I CRIED. How is Halstie not a baby anymore? She still fits in the cupboards and plays in there but she definitely wouldn’t be able to fit taking a nap in there especially with Echo (even though I know she would love to do that like she used to). Halstie used to fall asleep with Echo in the cupboards all the time. Payson doesn’t even fall asleep in our arms or in our bed. She only falls asleep in her bed when we close the curtains and leave the room. This will likely never happen again but I’m so grateful for this one time that I get to relive those moments. It was so bittersweet because although I got to have those moments back briefly, it was a reminder that these days don’t last. One day Echo bug won’t be here and the girls won’t be babies or “little” anymore. So I cried like a baby, sitting alone in my quiet kitchen and watching my 1 year old nap with my service dog in our cupboards. What a good boy and what a sweet baby. This is definitely a core memory. 🥺 #CoreMemory #FullCircleMoment #GrowingUpTooFast #DogAndBaby
