Its honestly such lazy writing, considering how they used the “show dont tell” rule before its just so disappointing now. Its the same repetitive thing, he dies, comes back, all that.

Honestly Genshin had a good writing, but they're starting to make messed up things to make X go to Z. Recently it got to characters too, and Playable ones. A good example for me is Columbina since they seem to have concepts for her character since the start, but when they started putting on paper this got a little messed up. Not saying she's rewritten (I don't like these comments) but that Hoyo didn't know how to elaborate her character and pass such feeling that Tartaglia got from her. Wouldn't it be more interesting to find her in that weak form and being more cautious with us? Answering our questions in a more weird way? Putting a more uneasy feeling? Anyway, Dottore is now being applied to come back. If they're actually doing it AGAIN, then that goodbye feeling was useless once again. At least in nod krai he had these "glitches" giving away he's not totally dead, just probably weaker and plotting something else. The come back in Sumeru was honestly more well written than some parts of nod krai, maybe more planned in comparison? idk. I just hope that since we are going back to a more "in plans" region, Sneznaya, they will actually make a better writing in some important parts. Maybe finally putting the Shades since they're showing up more and more very slowly... Sorry for the big text, I just have many things to say about this subject 😅

"always" he was gone for like 3 years and nothing dottore related thing came up till nod krai. There are few build ups and crumbs all over teyvat but that doesn't necessarily makes him culprit of everything. There are so many lores in the game and he's only involved in few and most of his involvements are just small parts. But that's exactly what makes him a fantastic villain. Your one and only argument is that there are no other Villian but sorry to say but that doesn't make his writing worse.

been saying exactly this for a while😭 dottore is a good villain yes but he is also like the only one. also he cant really be the big bad villain because we have beaten him 2-3 times, he isnt a threat to us when he keeps losing every time

hes the main villain for now so i dont think its a big problem also i think hoyo of course have their script ready for whats going to happend next because dottore existed from 2018, that means his death was also part of the script yk.. (not like columbina or nodkrai)
