Israel has killed nearly 200 of Leqaa’s family members in Gaza since the start of the genocide in 2023. For an entire year ICE subjected Leqaa to extremely inhumane conditions in detention, and after 10 months, she experienced her first ever seizure. Leqaa was released in March of this year—but thousands of women, men, and children just like her are still facing abuse in ICE custody. Like the Israeli military, ICE is running dehumanizing prison camps and tearing families apart. Enough.
