Some trust in influential people, some in political power, some in wealth, family background, education, or earthly connections. They believe those names can open doors, provide protection, or change their circumstances. But there is one Name that stands above every other name—the Name of Jesus Christ. The Name of Jesus is not just a name to be mentioned; it is a Name backed by the authority of heaven. It brings healing to the sick, freedom to those in bondage, hope to the hopeless, peace to the troubled, and life to the spiritually dead. In Acts 3:6–8, Peter had no silver or gold to offer the lame man. What he had was far greater: the Name of Jesus. The moment Peter spoke in faith, “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk,” a man who had never walked received strength in his feet and ankles and began walking, leaping, and praising God. This reminds us that your breakthrough is not in a person’s name, but in the Name of Jesus. Men may disappoint you, money may fail you, and human strength may run out, but the Name of Jesus never loses its power. Whatever you are believing God for today, call upon the Name of Jesus with faith. The same Name that worked miracles in the Book of Acts is still performing miracles today. “At the name of Jesus every knee should bow…” (Philippians 2:10) 🔥 There is still power in the Name of Jesus.
