BUPA menopause doctor! I was lucky enough to see one at my NHS practice as she was a locum GP that day. Best advice I’ve had and feel so much better for it 🤩

I was actually offered the option of HRT when it was suspected I was perimenopausal at 40. But I declined as was waiting on an ADHD diagnosis (5 years now), have had regular 24 day cycle for the last 4 years, and have other issues and I felt confident it wasn’t the key issue. But it seems HRT has gone into shortage in the last 2-3 years.

Ask for an appointment in the practice Well Woman Clinic as they gave me great help and support and listened! Now enjoying rubbing my HRT Gel in each night like a mad thing and feeling so much better - Women must tell their GP they want and Davina’s documentary empowered me to do just that 🔥

The problem is that you only have a 10 minute appointment so it’s impossible to have everything explained to you. I had HRT pretty much thrown at me but it just wasn’t right for me so I’ve ended up coming off it but still have terrible symptoms! Looks like I’ll just have to put up with it which is terrible. If men had a menopause it’d be a different kettle of fish! X
