We visited the incredible teams at MAG (Mines Advisory Group) in Xieng Khouang Province to see first-hand the life-saving work they do clearing unexploded bombs left behind from the war. This is land that families still depend on every day — for farming, for homes, for their future. During our visit, we witnessed (and were privileged to take part in) the controlled destruction of a BLU-26 cluster bomb, found just 20cm beneath the soil. With that one action, land was made safe for three households, allowing them to farm without fear. Seeing the skill, care and dedication of the MAG teams was incredibly humbling — and a powerful reminder of why, at YoYo Laos Sauce, we donate to MAG from every single sale.
