I’ll never do it but the pallet thing I agree I live in the Hamptons on the east end of Long Island and my business. I get tons of pallets, but there are so many tennis court companies out here that just have pallets stacked up everywhere to give away for free.

during Covid I lost all 6 of my DJ gigs. I made planter boxes, custom shelves and benches that fold into picnic tables. Pre-Covid I was set to make about 85k that year, once Covid knocked out my business I made 35k working 50 hours a week in my garage or online selling. I'm still paying off the credit card debt because I invested in all new equipment three weeks prior to COVID shutdowns. I also did pallet work. resold them and used the broken ones for window boxes and lawn decorations. This guy is giving bad advice. however, if you're like 18 looking for a summer job... it's a pretty great skill to learn. not much to start.

Any service business that you can really grind out especially niche ones ( I have a fish tank maintenance business) and make $3600 a month after taxes, there was a point where I was doing $6500 a month, gonna start a cleaning company soon it’s easier to scale and I still get to enjoy my hobby without bringing the “business” part to it instead for draining something I love..
