Honestly as long as you eat enough protein and do a lot of cardio you don’t HAVE to track every food you eat. As long as you don’t include high calorie food very often fat loss is very simple. Also the gym isn’t necessary for fat loss itself but its ideal to train hard and heavy at the gym in order to maintain your muscle during the deficit
