The most sensible response I have heard - the government are not taking any accountability to why there is so much bad content and why this content is being delivered to children. Create a positive world and we will see more positive content.

The idea that kids will just put their phones down and go outside is for the birds. They will just use other apps that are far more dangerous or they will use VPN's. The correct approach would be to educate parents on parental controls that have always been available.

I had a 90s childhood so obviously no social media. We had youth clubs to meet friends and magazines (to keep up to date with everything). Both have gone. We do need to give kids something to replace social media for sure!

Why are they constantly making it harder for parents to parent! My kids need to know how to use it as adults and are more secure with their data than I am. Policy makers shouldn’t themselves on the internet
