I didn’t care for gameoverse but the chimptopia promo gives nothing. Cartoons making fun of others is nothing new but that video was just lazy. Think of shows like Robot chicken or MAD that make fun of other shows in a creative way. Also the promo tells us nothing about what the show what be like, if the show was about making fun of other shows then it would make sense to make a short where they make fun of gameoverse (the short would still be boring but at least it would show what the show is like) but the shows supposed to be about the characters making money for their landlord, wouldn’t you want to show the landlord or what plans the guys are gonna get to? It’s a bad first impression

Also, apparently: the entirety of the trailer is a parody/reference of a Tex Avery animation, criticizing the overuse of the Disney cutesy aesthetic. And plus, I think the reason a lot of people are upset is that chimptopia didn’t uplift itself in any way. It didn’t give you any positives, it didn’t tell you about the show, it just craps on gameoverse just because

I am not even sure what he means by "another one of this" like Viv, goose, glitch ect don't even have similar styles of humor, animation, themes like nothing at all.

in my opinion it's just family guy without the family and eddsworld, the art also looks like family guy and is an over use art style for adults sitcoms. also in the promo there was nothing telling us what the show was about.
