PS used to have the free online model and that's why I was a PS user for so long. I'm on PC now for a little over a year and I won't go back to console. Console is a rip off, considering the amount of great games and discounts I can get for PC compared to console.

Sad thing is PS3 had his first you were able to play online free then they saw how Xbox was doing with gold pass back then in on the PS4 they made it a requirement because Xbox Xbox was doing such a good job. Got to love corporate greed

And that is one of many reasons why PC gaming is superior. Online play is free, has games from both consoles and also it's own games, no restrictions, no fixed hardware, lasts longer, future proof, can maintain high quality graphics while maintaining high FPS, flexible, can multitask.

I cancelled that online play shit this year! Fuck Sony taking 79.99 a year for the ability to play online. I’m good with my single player campaigns. Hell, I gotta pay $75.00 a month just to have good high speed internet in my home. When I looked at it realistically I was paying Sony $79.99 a year for a few random matches of MK1 now and then because I like fighting actual humans over the computer. Nah, I’m good with my $80!!!!

without the servers you wont be able to connect to most players and it will cause massive network issues that pc players have delt with for a long time. friends list wont work group chats won't exist and you'll probably have to create things you could just use when paying for it.
