Also, minimalism is an actual design mindset, not just the absence of stuff. If you look into say nordic minimalism, you find that the primary focus is low stimulation comfort and cleanlyness. Its explicitly unobtrusive and in many ways. These examples here try to play that game where you try to play brutalist and minimalist at the same time, when whats actually happening is that you didnt want to install good flooring or pick out a good color palette. Also minimalism at its absolute core is about functionality, and these literslly just do not work a lot of the time.

local cafes in India are actually really doing great, from garden cafes to warm wooden ambience with soft lights and leather seats to actually rest. while mcdonald here just replaced their wooden chairs and got plastic stools and stuff smh. here is the one in my city
