i think the first observation should have been that he was asked a question by another person. the second observation should have been, what if the questioner included abu musa jabril in the group with the other scholars. would shamsi then respond and say who am i to validate scholars or not. go listen to who you want! obviously not! stop trying to make something out of nothing!

Every single small student of ilm and even us amwan have been asked about scholars and we give an answer that he is bad or good and we don’t say (most the time) “it’s wrong to ask me” Why attack shamsi for it when he’s trying to stop the hizbiyah of kids?
