If you look on the shelves there are inventory tags. so he probably really is checking especially because the fishing aisle is normally hand counted by associates and inputted by the inventory team. It’s just you bro.

He could just be checking that every item is in order and not in the wrong place. When I was working at Walmart I had to do this with my designated section I worked. Had to just stand and look closely at everything. It's awkward when someone's in your isles and you're doing it. They have specific people work sports, toys, or arts and they have to stay in their section all day and work so its alot of walking down the same few aisles and inspecting often. Sometimes there's nothing to do and we have to just walk around and act like we're doing stuff.

Walmart Ap actually does do inventory, but they do the recounts after the 3rd party goes through and does the initial counts. They also have to go through and make sure all the inventory tags are hung properly, which is what he was doing.

I get this every time I’m in Walmart no matter which one either. They hang in the isle like there busy. Then I’ll go clear across the store and lo and behold there they are again. That is why I no longer give them my business.

well the inventory part looks legit, you can see all the start and stop count tags. and employees have to do a walk thru to make sure everything is ready to go for counters
