not gonna lie, I didn't had a big stance about Iran untill I see some Iranian supporting Israel and no matter what I will be against those who support israel. I think they live in a bubble where Israel is popular when it's clearly not.

my account got the first 10 thousand followers because I speak out for Mahsa Amini. I joined the protest in Auckland multiple times. But last year until today, whenever I saw Iranian protests, there are always Israeli flags there, I just felt disappointed and difficult to join the protest under that flag.

As a Marxist, I’m against the idea of theocracy. But I’m also against the idea of helping a country’s workers revolt. The will of the people can only be expressed by the people. Clearly the Iranian people within Iran are in support of the current government. I mean why wouldn’t they be. If your country has been invaded, attacked, couped over the past 60 years, wouldn’t you support the leaders that took you from the defense to the offense? Propelling you from a sanctioned country to a world power? I do hope the Iranian workers can revolt, but the idea that billionaires and an imperialist country was going to do that for them is laughable. I already know someone taking that position is historically ignorant. As such I take them as serious as a Zionist saying Israel was promised to them 3000 or whatever years ago

Something that I realize is how similar is Pahlavi and Puyi from China all their followers bow down to the west and sell their countries despite a century of humiliation, Iran won the Chinese people’s heart. That’s granting them a much better position

I agree with much of this however, there is one more. Supporters of the Monarchy also began using their platforms to attack Palestinians and their supporters. Iranian dissidents such as Masih Alinejad and others with large platforms, openly voiced their support for Israel’s genocide in Gaza and settler violence in the West Bank. I was also an initial supporter of the protests in Iran however, when they began attacking Palestinians, this changed my perception of them.

my dad is against the IRCG and refused to believe that Iranians abroad were supporting Isreal and kept calling them a "loud minority" because to him the liberation of Iran should have nothing to do with Isreal, for it's a just cause.

Absolutely not, how dare Donald Trump,Tony Blair and others say Iran cannot have nuclear weapons? Who gave them the right to decide how a sovereign nation can defend it self. I doubt it either. The world sees how Iran has been unfairly treated by the west and how Iran is standing up for Justice when it comes to Palestine. That alone is enough for the world to overlook Iranian local politics regardless of how western media keeps screaming at us about Iran.

I’m half Iranian, and I’ve never felt this disappointed in people who claim to be part of our country. I expected better from them. I expected them to know their own history and to carry themselves with more dignity. Now I just feel ashamed, and I avoid talking to them because they make my blood boil.

the reality is that they really are clueless and don't understand the western mind or non-western mind. they don't pay attention to or care about how global public has shifted towards viewing Israel very unfavorably. Part of this incompetence is that it flows from the top: Reza Pahlavi is an ardent Israel defender, so of course his lackeys and sycophants will follow suit. Have you ever heard a Pahlavist express any concern towards any non-Iranians besides Israelis? It's just not part of their worldview because their whole political agenda is straight from Israeli intelligence.

Those people actually made me sort of mad because some of them even said how they support Palestine but either it’s just to look good or they just don’t at all support Palestine and yes these people are islamaphobic idc if it’s trauma I hate the governments religious oppression but being this hypocritical is just a big turnoff for me
