Anytime a teacher or staff member has tried to dresscode me it sorta goes like this “did you buy my clothes? No? Then I will wear what I deem school appropriate. If you have a problem with that then you guys can buy my clothes” never gotten dress coded or docked points for my clothes (PE a grade was the clothing we wore)

I had a teacher tell me to shave my legs when I was 12… I have dark brown hair but my leg and arm hair is the lightest most translucent blonde you can have. I just remember staring at her and going “what hair?” Because I was so gabsmocked. I told my mom. My mom is the sweetest kindest person on the world she didn’t even curse until after she retired from nursing. I had to wait on the hall while she talked to the principal and teacher… I learned a few new insults and a few curses that day 😂 I was moved out of that teachers class and if she saw me in the hall she would pretend I didn’t exist after that. She got more complaints and was gone a few years later. Pretty sure she only lasted cause she was an electives teacher (can’t even remember which one anymore) and so they would just change anyone who she pissed the parents of out of her class. By the time she left he classes were 90% boys because if a girl got assigned her they’d be asking to change classes within a week because if her rep.
