@luxueriee: I’ve been making this French bread almost weekly, and this is my second time making baguettes with it. I use the sponge method, which gives the dough so much flavor and the most beautiful texture. At this point, I’m not sure I can go back to buying bread from the store. There’s just something about pulling a fresh loaf out of the oven, hearing that crust crackle as it cools, and knowing exactly what went into it. The smell alone is worth the effort.
