@adriana.sansam: Because grief isn’t just missing someone on the hard days. It’s missing them on the beautiful days too. It’s standing in front of a mirror, smiling because you’ve found the dress you’ll marry the love of your life in, while grieving the person who isn’t part of this wedding, but is part of the reason it exists. Yesterday held so much joy and sadness. Somehow, both belonged there. And that’s the thing about grief, it doesn’t leave when life starts becoming beautiful again.
