Every wrestler is capable of doing a lot more moves, whether it’s Cena, Roman, Gunther, or others. The reason they don’t is because they’re powerhouses... they don’t need flashy, high risk moves to get a reaction. Their job is to make every move count, sell it well, and make it look impactful. That’s what makes them effective in the ring.

Its more of the tope of reign. When you are a Main Eventer the Moveset tends to be a little less agressive and reducing posaible moves that might get you injured. Cena most of his Career was a Main Eventer untill he became U.S Champions he start giving banger after banger due to he could increase his Moveset. Of course it might change some might due many movesets as a World.Champion and viceversa less moves as a Second One

John’s “lack of a move set” is why he lasted so long. The GREATS didn’t have a plethora of moves ie Austin, HHH, Rock. Doesn’t mean they didn’t have it in the bag.
