My journey started with a course in forex about 15 years ago if not more. I then began trading hoping from one strategy to another and that did not work. I then moved to changing brokers often to try find one that I was comfortable with. That was a disaster of note. I sat down and designed my own strategy that suit my trading style. This was in the third year already and I was still not making progress. After change of strategy and finding a suitable broker, I stuck to my system and plan. This is the time I started making weekly withdrawals which I did not enjoy when I started. Every strategy works if executed perfectly not forgetting that sometimes you will lose a trade with all the setups in place and confirmed, it's just how the market operates. Losses are part of the game as long they are more wins than losses then your business is moving forward. The best part I have learned all these years is to close the outside noise and focus on what's important. No posting on social media bragging with stash of notes, no adverts inviting people to come to you for trading, no street corner gossip talking about your journey etc. Just I and myself doing what I know best at my own pace with no outside pressure. Consistency is key, focus on your strategy without hoping around and stay informed on market trends, news, fundamental economic calendar events and success is definitely a given.
