No there's more to it. a Muslim man can't just marry a non muslim, islam allows them to marry people from the book(like jews and Christians) and after marrying the non muslim woman still pursue her own religion But if a woman marries a non Muslim her kids will most likely follow her husband's religion and also there might be restrictions for women like she might not be able to be muslim anymore. So a Muslim man can't just marry a non Muslim. He can marry people of the book(jew and Christian)
