How do you handle painting trim when you have a semi-open floor plan? I want to paint the trim in my living room, but there isn’t a door or anything between the living room and the kitchen or hallway, just a double wide opening. so do I just have to commit and paint all of the trim in the entire house the same color or have a hard line at the edge of the room?
