According to history traced back to the lineage it was what our Forefathers could afford depending on what they farmed. They would offer as a Thanksgiving. The soul of the animal sacrificed attains liberation in the name of Amma. Just like how Ram killed Ravana with his hands. So to the soul offered to Amma in sacrifice attains liberation. But also 1 needs to understand that it also states that a lime or other vegetables are equivalent to Animals lives. At this point when earth is in turmoil and we need the eco-system to stay alive, there is an alternative to animal sacrifice. In the name of Amma, I humbly ask Please Don't question what 1 offers her or how one prays because truly it is a unique bond between Amma and that soul. 🙏 Let us altogether pray in harmony to Amma for the much needed necessities in this world currently.
