The thing is, mimicking dark circles with eye shadow and then covering up said eye shadow, will work so much better because the makeup will end up blending, giving the illusion of being covered up. But in actuality, it’s very hard to successfully cover dark circles , even with colour correction. I don’t know what it is, but unless you want to absolutely cake up your face, they’re not going anywhere.

I swear no matter what I do my under eyes look blue/greyish, I’ve tried everything, multiple concealers,correctors, different methods and nothing. It’s either covered and cakey or smooth and still grey 🙃

Hi Rose, is there a way to darken a yellow concealer? For example, I currently have Maybelline instant erase in shade 150. I have purplish dark circles and I feel like the depth of 150 is not enough to color correct my dark circles. I’m just checking if that’s possible. If I have to buy Mac’s ochre concealer, I’m not sure if that will solve the issue on my dark circles. So that would be a waste of money 🥺
