Oh this sounds fun! As a DM I'd set it so I have a d6 behind my screen dedicated to it. On a 5-6 I'd tell the truth. Once that truth is discovered the next one only appears on a 6. No truths after that but the dice must still be rolled. Obviously do not tell them the mechanics. Resets once a day as per normal.

Maybe the clock only tells the truth when the time is what’s displayed on tje clock (ex. if the clock is stuck a 5:30, it only speaks the truth at 5:30)

so can you ask the clock an unlimited number of questions, and only twice a day it tells the truth? or like 12 questions only 1 an hour? or you only get the 2 questions and you gotta basically guess and check when the "truth times" are?
