I created a detailed PPT presentation for one of our programs. It was well organized and had all pertinent information needed.... to be told it was "too detailed". Cut it from 20+ slides to THREE!! 😪

When I was co- lead on a trade show tent (did over 10 years) literally had the new CEO do this type of vague "do better" thing. Vetoed money to upgrade. We still did great woth scrappy ideas. The next year the man said the same damn thing. when asked he just said "just make it better" The next year, the lead and I were kicked off the tent and the new person. was given basically a blank check and did several updates we had wanted
