I’m not client facing, so people dress very casual at my office. BUT I pay attention to what sr leadership is wearing and try to mimic that. I’m typically slightly over dressed compared to other women, however I’ve received many compliments for how I dress, and have been selected to be in rooms that I feel I may not have gotten otherwise !!

I love your videos. I work in HR and I find that people have a hard time looking at situations objectively and realistically. Same for work appropriate outfits. The argument is always, "But it doesn't affect the quality of my work! I should wear whatever I want!" when perception is reality and we still have to function within society and specific circles.

The thing is you are doing a public service. The knowledge of what to wear and how to present is often passed down from those who are on the inside (ie- their parents work in corporate, etc) and is making this world more accessible for those who may not have been groomed for the roles and are breaking down the barriers for entry
