The Bible says plainly, “It is God’s will that you should be sanctified…” [1 Thessalonians 4:3] Everything else in life; every decision and desire should hinge on this goal. God’s ultimate will for us is to be conformed into the image of His Son, Jesus. When that is our goal, everything else flows from that. Why? Because when we become more like Christ, we see things differently. Confusion turns to contentment. Trial turns to trust. Frustration turns to faith. God’s will is simple. To be sanctified.
