@zauey: A few observations and takeaways from this Y Combinator Spring 2026 batch 🤖 Every company is an AI company now (173 of 196 lead with AI or agents, and only 23 don’t mention it at all) 🏢 It’s overwhelmingly B2B - about 61% sell to businesses vs. just 6% consumer 👷 It’s an engineer’s batch: 70% of founders are technical, ~half the companies are all-technical teams, and only 3% are dropouts. 🏭 Hardware is back. Industrials (defense, robotics, energy) jumped from ~2% of YC three years ago to 13%, with 11 in defense alone. 📞 ~11% build for a customer that isn’t human, building infrastructure for agents 💼 At least 17 companies are AI-native services, going after consulting and back-office budgets. #startups #founder #venturecapital #ycombinator #Tech
