Oh hell nah. We have an insurance guy that helps us shop around every year. I don’t think we have ever had the same company for longer than a year because of the way they raise these rates!

There’s no way that what’s going on is sustainable. I just can’t see if inflation keeps going up on top of other things like property taxes and insurance plus add health insurance increases that in 10 to 20 years we don’t see another financial crisis.

we bought our house in 2019 in 2021 we refinanced it and our payment went down significantly 2026 our payment is now almost more than when we purchased it our insurance went up $700 and our property tax went up $150 more from just last year!😳😱

so shop insurance companies also see if it's due to your roof turning too old. they like to j a ck rates for roof turning a certain age

We live in California. I don’t even know who else writes home owner policies other than AAA. When we bought our home in 2019, our insurance was only $775/year. It’s now close to $1,800.
