I put tretinoin 0.1% on at night then wait 5 minutes and apply Nivea cream. I never peel or get any irritation

is Adapalene an acceptable alternative? I tried and tried Tret and I just could not tolerate it.

23 years of tretinoin. Every night. It is not different than brushing my teeth. I’m 57.

She's so right. I have been using Tretinoin for more than 10 years and I hardly have any wrinkles at my age of 53.

I’m seven months in and I’m still flaky every day. I’m sticking with the course because I know the benefits are coming. People just want instant gratification.

My Dr. started me on Tretinoin for acne as a teenager in the late 90's. I am now 45 and have used it ever since. It is the best!!

I just spent like two hours scrolling through your TikTok and I’m loving all your advice 🥰My aesthetician, who does my facials, is recommending chemical peels and microchanneling to help with my acne scars and pigmentation. Do you recommend that, or would you suggest microneedling with a dermatologist instead? I’m 29 years old.

Dr. Brown. Could you please make another video like this. There aren’t to many people talking about the difference between the Cream vs the Gel. Gel users are golden for people with Acne Prone skin that are highly comedone-prone!!! This right here < it’s like 60% of people with acne that’s been talking about why their skin hasn’t passed the “purge stage” after 3 months on it and they end up giving up bc they believe Tretinoin isn’t working when it is. “Isopropyl myristate” is the ingredient that’s causing clogged for people with this experience I’m talking about. I HOPE THAT HELPS! ( I’m a guy too surprisingly getting into skincare😂🖤)

I always get perioral dermatitis from tretinoin even with the sandwich method, even when I start very slow and work my way up, for whatever reason my skin just refuses. I’m going to start a retinal in hopes to get used to that and then move up to tret. If anyone has tips please let me know because I would love to use tretinoin just without the PD.

If everyone should be using it, then it shouldn’t be prescription only. I’d love to use it, but I’m not dealing with refills and pharmacy trips every month.
