I really wish the media in other countries could capture who we really are. This isn't a one-off type of thing. We love to share the American experience. You could probably ask almost anybody with a boat to go for a ride and they would be excited and feel like they are the blessed one that day to get the honor. Welcome, we are glad you are here.

Hey, growing up in southern California, it was not uncommon to overhear strangers talking about going to the colorado river, to water skiing saying, wow, I'd love to be able to doing that.And they invite you along to join their family... they would teach you how to water ski, how to jet ski, very common growing up in the seventies and eighties in America.

the wild thing is that this isn't just for tourists-we once ran into trouble kayaking a river with some beginners and needed to backtrack and ask a house for help. the couple invited us in, gave us an impromptu happy hour and snacks, a ride to our car and brought the kayaks up with a 4 wheeler. We're still friends with them and we'd meet up for happy hour every trip afterwards.

What I love the most about the world cup videos im seeing is that they are showing how most people love embracing ither cultures and not what the media portrays. Like we just wana party, hang out and watch some matches!!
