It seems after what I have seen so far it was a horrible accident- and unfortunately someone died and another girl will no longer be the same. I don’t believe he purposely did this and if he only really had 2 beers as what I have heard this was just a tragic accident. All parents knew what was going so if you allowed your daughter to leave on that boat than they are just as responsible, my opinion!

PSA. Do not take people that aren't related to you on your boat! If something happens, they'll sue you and in court, they'll watch you sink. IMO The judge seems to make everything hard for the defense. This is a person's life, his freedom. The kids who were hurt or passed absolutely matter but that was separate than this hearing, Pino paid millions to the other families. I don't know Pino but I do believe his life matters too. If you run a red light and kill someone, this could be you against the state and judge. So many scenarios that aren't relevant are arguments to push this case forward. IMO the parents were with the kids and George before the accident, they obviously know he wasn't drunk or they would not let the girls ride with him, right? If the parents are now saying George was drunk, can't they be sued for negligence too? Speeding isn't a factor, there was not a speed limit. He had life vests for everyone. It's not illegal to not wear it while traveling on a boat. He didn't have more people than the boat allotted for so that's not an issue I don't understand the states absolute determination to hang this guy. The state is not likeable, she's a bulldog. But she's handling this case solo while the defense has 5 attorneys She's smart but I wouldn't like her if I were on the jury. The defense appear relaxed and accommodating, confident. All my opinions.

What i don’t get is , how that one girl said when the boat hit, she just jumped off the edge because it was sinking. So how did the boat immediately get capsized and Lucy stuck under?

Guilty. Jail time. He shouldn’t have been drinking and he and his wife gave alcohol to underage girls. Reckless and unlawful. He was in charge of all those children and he was speeding and drank.
